This year’s conference slogan, “Taking green to the next level”, addresses all stakeholders in the electronics value chain, with their differing needs and the challenges they face. One focus of Electronics Goes Green 2012+ is on resource scarcity and its effect on electronics manufacturing. Join us for front-line reports and the best ideas for how to address the problems facing our industry at EGG 2012+.
Keynotes
Keynote presentations will be held by high-profile stakeholders representing
views beyond the standard industrial perspective. We are particularly looking
forward to Hans-Joachim Otto, Parliamentary State Secretary of the German
Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, who will present the opening
keynote on Green IT energy efficiency for systems. Please see

Tutorials and events
The Sunday before the conference features a variety of tutorials and discussion forums,
ranging from thermal energy harvesting to a discussion of solutions to e-waste
in developing and emerging economies. Special events now include celebration of
the 5th anniversary of the “StEP – Solving the E-waste Problem”
initiative during the Get Together before the conference.
